1. SO WHAT WITH BEING WHO YOU ARE

    • It's not everyday that I get to scroll through posts of my friends on Facebook, but since it's Holiday, I'm interested in everyone's picture for Christmas. I scrolled through this profile picture of my former classmate (FYI, I'm studying in an exclusive for girls school) with someone. I was looking at it deeply.
    • Me: *on my mind* Is she her mom?
    • Mom: Is she her mom?
    • Me: I don't know but she looks young to be her mom.
    • Then I clicked for the next picture, she's with her again.
    • Me: Ah, she's her girlfriend.
    • Mom: She's a lesbian?
    • Me: Yes
    • Mom: She doesn't look like a lesbian.
    • Me: *on my mind* 'Cause not all lesbians dress like boys
    • Then I watched a promotion video for our school and she spotted these girls running inside the gym for their P.E class.
    • Mom: They're lesbians.
    • Me: It's just for their P.E.
    • Mom: Ah, I thought they're basketball varsities.
    • Me: Not all varsities are lesbians.
    • Then I got the idea that maybe she thinks that I'm a lesbian or something or she's afraid that I would/could be one.
    • What's wrong with being a lesbian or gay, transgender or a bisexual? It's who they are. Besides, with parents nowadays in our country, they're afraid of their young daughters getting pregnant. What would you choose? She's with a girl or a boy? It's the same with, do you want her to get pregnant or not?
